How does my kid earn tokens?

Every prayed salah, every chore you approve, and every completed curriculum chapter mints screen-time tokens. You set the exchange rate — for example, 1 salah = 20 min, 1 chore = 15 min, 1 Qur'an chapter = 30 min. Kids see their balance live in the app and know exactly what to do next.

Can my child cheat the system?

The kid-to-parent unlock uses a rotating code that changes every 60 seconds — so a screenshot won't work. Kids also can't self-approve chores; every chore submission goes through your parent inbox first. Every salah log respects the correct prayer time window, so kids can't spam Fajr at 10pm.

What if my kid doesn't earn any tokens?

That's up to you. You can set a small daily 'starter' allowance (say, 15 minutes free per day) and everything else earned. Or make it fully earned. Or add a 'catch-up day' every Sunday where they can earn extra by memorizing an ayah. The whole exchange is parent-defined.

What ages is Deen First for?

It works best for ages 6-15. Under 6, kids don't have their own phones — Deen First still helps, because you can use tokens to unlock the family iPad. Over 15, teens usually earn a fixed daily allowance; Deen First becomes a light nudge rather than a strict rule.

Do I need a Family plan?
