The 6 farā'iḍ of wudu, learned by playing

Wudu Steps Order

Every Muslim parent has watched their kid rinse their mouth after washing their arms. The Wudu Steps game fixes that by turning the correct sequence into muscle memory — kids drag the 6 farā'iḍ into the right order, hear a soft chime for each correct step, and get gentle correction for slip-ups.

The 6 farā'iḍ in the correct order

1) Niyyah + wash hands, 2) rinse mouth (madmada), 3) rinse nose (istinshaq), 4) wash face, 5) wash arms to elbows, 6) wipe head + wash feet to ankles. Each step has an animated illustration + Arabic label + English transliteration.

Frequently asked
What are the 6 fara'id of wudu?

The 6 obligatory acts (farā'iḍ) of wudu are: 1) niyyah with washing hands, 2) rinsing the mouth, 3) rinsing the nose, 4) washing the face, 5) washing the arms to elbows, 6) wiping the head and washing the feet to ankles.

Do kids need to make wudu for every prayer?

Not if their wudu has not broken. Wudu remains valid until nullified (by passing gas, using the bathroom, deep sleep, etc.). Teach kids to check with a parent when unsure.

How can I help my child memorize the wudu order?

Play the Wudu Steps Order game 3 times over one week. Muscle memory forms fast when the reward loop is a game, not a lecture.
