Why do we pray 5 times a day?
Great question! Allah loves it when we remember Him — like a hug five times a day 💚 It also breaks our day into small resets so we don't get lost.
— Prophet ﷺ said prayer is like a river we bathe in five times (Sahih Muslim 667)

Real questions kids ask Noor

These are the tough ones — Noor handles every one with kindness, evidence, and a parent-safety flag.

Why do we pray 5 times a day?

Because Allah loves it when we remember Him — like a hug five times a day. It also breaks our day into small resets so we don't get lost. Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said prayer is like a river we bathe in five times.

Will my grandma go to Jannah?

That's a really loving question. Only Allah knows for sure who goes to Jannah — but we can help by making du'a for her, giving sadaqah in her name, and being kind to her. That's how we love her forever.

Is music haram?

Scholars have different views. Some say all music with instruments is haram, others say sad or violent lyrics are the real problem. In our home, the safe path is: nasheeds and Qur'an anytime, and ask your parent about anything else.

Can I be friends with a non-Muslim kid?

Absolutely — the Prophet ﷺ had non-Muslim neighbors, business partners, and even relatives, and he was kind to all of them. Just don't do things Allah forbids — that's the rule for any friend, Muslim or not.

Why do I have to wear hijab?

Allah asked Muslim women to cover as a shield of dignity and protection — like a queen's crown, not a cage. It's a huge step, so take your time and talk to your mom. You are already loved by Allah whether you wear it today or later.

What if I forgot to make wudu?

No stress. Just make wudu now and pray again if the salah counted. If you already prayed without wudu by mistake, quickly make wudu and repeat that prayer. Allah loves us fixing our mistakes.

Noor vs ChatGPT vs Google vs YouTube — for Muslim kids

The big general-purpose AIs and search engines don't know your child, your deen, or your limits. Noor does.
